Choose the week

Weekly CEO Reset Prompt

Turn a crowded project list into three outcomes, protected work blocks, delegations, and explicit tradeoffs.

Act as my operations chief. Using [goals], [open projects], [constraints], and [calendar], create a focused plan for the next seven days. Identify the three outcomes that matter most, what should be postponed or delegated, the first concrete action for each priority, likely blockers, and protected work blocks. End with a Friday scorecard that measures completed outcomes rather than hours spent.

Resolve a choice

One-Page Decision Memo Prompt

Compare real options, risks, reversibility, evidence, and the smallest responsible next step.

Create a one-page decision memo for [decision]. Compare [options] against [constraints] using only [evidence]. Include the objective, what must be true, benefits, risks, reversible versus irreversible consequences, unanswered questions, and a recommendation. State your confidence level and what evidence would change the recommendation. Finish with the smallest responsible next step before [deadline].

Close the loop

Friday Outcome Scorecard

Review completed outcomes instead of hours, capture the blocker and lesson, and make Monday obvious.

Complete this scorecard at the end of the week using [goals], [open projects], [constraints], and [calendar]. Score the week on completed outcomes rather than time spent. Record what changed, what stayed blocked, what should stop, start, or continue, and which single result deserves the first protected block next Monday. Do not carry unfinished work forward automatically; require a reason tied to the current goals.
