Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how AI Skills Studio uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. They let the site remember things between page loads, such as the fact that you are signed in. We also use closely related browser storage, including local storage and session storage, which work the same way from your point of view. Where this page says “cookies”, it means all of these.

Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working and cannot be switched off in the product. Our authentication provider, Supabase, sets a session cookie so you stay signed in as you move between pages, and we store a small amount of security state to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Without these you cannot log in or stay logged in.

Preferences

These remember choices you have made, such as your theme, whether you have dismissed an onboarding tour, and view settings inside the Creator Studio. Losing them is not harmful, it just resets those choices.

Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, which features get used, and where visitors run into trouble, so we can improve the Services. This tells us about patterns across many visitors rather than identifying you personally. We also use Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance.

Payments

When you buy a plan or credits, Stripe sets cookies to process the payment and to detect fraud. These are set by Stripe as part of the checkout you are directed to, and are governed by Stripe's own privacy notice.

Third Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by the third parties listed above rather than by us: Supabase for authentication, Google for analytics, Stripe for payments, and Vercel for hosting and performance measurement. Embedded content, such as a video player on a lesson page, may also set its own cookies. We do not control those cookies, and the provider's own policy applies to them.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles for other companies.

How Long They Last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you clear them. Our authentication session is refreshed while you keep using the site and expires after a period of inactivity. Analytics cookies typically last up to two years.

How to Control Cookies

Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block new ones. Look under Settings, then Privacy. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which clears everything when you close it.

To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google's browser opt-out add-on. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting, though there is still no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to it.

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in, and blocking preference cookies will reset your settings on every visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Services change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
